if I install ipfw on 32-bit-machines, there are two options:
[list=1]
[]netipfw.inf
[]netipfw_m.inf
[/list]
What’s the difference between them and which one should be used?

It doesn’t matter. What you are actually selecting is a directory in the Windows UI and it will find the appropriate inf’s and present the services that are available for install.
