abnormal delay for custom RTT

I have tested a ssl site with custom link with firefox 7.
RTT=550 msec, 100Mbps down and 10 Mbps up
It takes ~21 sec to get OCSP reply from versign.

I have got similar results with citi.com too at RTT of 200 (30 sec).

Is there anything funny going on ?

It doesn’t look like either of those is a problem with the custom RTT, it looks like there was a problem in getting the OCSP response from verisign (in both cases it looks like the request actually failed/timed out). If you see this happening regularly you should reach out to verisign and have them look.
