I’m using a customer header to set a cookie that authorizes the browser to view the page (it’s a members-only page).
On Chrome it works perfectly, but Chrome doesn’t report out any issues with images on https sites from what I can tell.
The custom header has no affect on IE11 (the test ends up rendering the sign-in page that you’re redirected to).
But, the most interesting is Firefox. The custom header works on the first load (I see the members-only page), but isn’t carried over to the repeat viewing (where it displays the sign-in page).
This is a bit of a bummer, as Firefox seems to be better at providing stats on image compression than Chrome.
Thoughts? Anything I should try?
