This is the first location outside of Dulles that I’m hosting myself so feel free to shoot me a note if you see anything odd.
I’m not sure Akamai is doing a terribly good job at geo-locating for CDN traffic because it looks like it is sending most Yahoo requests back to the US and AOL CDN requests are a good 100+ms away but Google is ~25ms away from the server so I’m pretty sure it’s not a DNS problem on my end, just part of the crapshoot that is DNS-based geo-location.
If there are any other key locations you’d like to see covered feel free to post that as well. I’m looking at possibly doing something in South Korea or Africa next (though finding inexpensive co-lo in Africa doesn’t look very likely).
