medianRun=fastest parameter not working?

I haven’t been able to get the “&medianRun=fastest” parameter working in the last while. Wondering if anybody else is seeing that.

Example:

and

https://www.webpagetest.org/video/compare.php?tests=160815_7K_6497a04f59e7969436e91f6e56fdaa2d%2C160815_TZ_591cd7c3da195450833eeea4b71405a5&thumbSize=200&ival=100&end=full&medianMetric=SpeedIndex

both showed just the median results.

Hello desmondtam! I’m having the same problem it seems.

First of all: I assume that when using medianMetric=SpeedIndex and medianRun=fastest I should get the run with the lowest SpeedIndex as the median run. Is this correct?

Example: https://www.webpagetest.org/result/170119_3D_b1881de640c7c3016d8aaa6c44952571/?medianMetric=SpeedIndex&medianRun=fastest

Result page says run 8 is the median but when I look at the results Run 7 has lower SpeedIndex (so “fastest”).

I created an issue/bug on Github for this: medianRun=fastest not working anymore? · Issue #805 · WPO-Foundation/webpagetest · GitHub
