the Private Instance docs state that its recommended for Ubuntu 18.04. Being new to this area, I had just setup Ubuntu desktop 21.04. Can you tell me if the WPT private instance code should work on this Ubuntu release?

It should work fine. I know it works great on 20.04 LTS (which is what I use for all the servers).
The main issue with the agent is that Chrome seems to use more resources/run slower on 20.04 and I haven’t tracked down exactly why yet so it’s easier to keep the agents on 18.04 without the extra overhead.
