WPT's Lighthouse test: based on the field or lab data?

Could somebody explain me: what is the nature of Webpagetest’s Lighthouse: field or lab?

I’m slightly in doubt, and it looks like field data: because the Lighthouse test doing out of Webpagetest diagnoses an issue (CLS), which I haven’t in both Lighthouse LAB tests, doing by PageSpeed Insights and from Chrome’s DevTools.

Lighthouse is ALWAYS a lab test, no matter where you run it.
