Hello , iam trying to optimize site , Joomla 2.5 and main component is Jomsocial 2.8

Site hosted on cloudaccess.net so i assuming server is optimized for joomla

With 90 requests and 650kb page , should not be 1st bite that long and load time 5 sec .
What can i do, please help . Caching not an option becourse we need homepage updated with live coments and on users walls:s

You should reach out to cloudaccess.net and ask them to look at the server-side tuning. 5 seconds is pretty insane. It could be a combination of plugins or something in your template but that looks a lot like slow database performance.

You can potentially still cache the pages if you move to an ajax-based commenting system.
