Crazy late favicon

Here’s a strange looking result: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140817_DY_908/1/details/

The page loads in under 5 seconds, even the javascript and non-essential elements. Then there is a 20 second delay before the favicon loads. I turned off all social media related plugins to realize this test and can’t answer the massive load delay. Perhaps someone can provide some insight?
