IP Address for API

Hi,

I have created an app to call the API and run our WPT tests daily. However, I am behind a corporate proxy. I am looking to get the WPT API requests whitelisted for the proxy and firewall. Is the IP address the same as that for the main site or is there a different IP address for the API and does this depend on where you are running the tests from?

Hi Chris, Regrettably, we do not currently furnish IP addresses for the API, and the IP may undergo changes unpredictably. We advise your IT team to establish rules based on the domain for optimal configuration.
