N/A for Compress Images

Hello

I’m having a hard time figuring out why Compress Images shows a N/A to me. I’m serving my pages and content over HTTPS. I previously tried with WP’s Photon enabled http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150326_VS_5Q8/
Later thought that Photon might be an issue and tried it after disabling it, but the results are similar - http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150326_2X_610/

I checked a few previous threads and it was advised that N/A for Compress Images is a bad thing. The causes previously discussed were about gzipped images, but I’ve re-confirmed that my images aren’t gzipped. Neither are my pages full of PNGs which the tool probably does not check.

So, I’m just wondering what the reason could be? Is it just because my images are served over HTTPS? I did try with other browsers as it was mentioned that there wasn’t proper implementation in the Chrome browsers being used to test.
Or is it something serious which I’m not able to find out?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Strangely, the file sizes for all of your images is reported as 0.0 KB: http://www.webpagetest.org/pageimages.php?test=150326_VS_5Q8&run=1&cached=0

If WPT thinks the images are 0 bytes, there wouldn’t be any room for improvement, hence N/A.

@pmeenan this seems like a WPT bug to me.

Thanks for looking into it, buddy. The Request Details table does show the size of the images, so maybe WPT is really bugged here.
But I checked another HTTPS webpage from Mozilla blogs and it somehow still loads fine and the test is able to provide a score for the images served over HTTPS and the size of images is detected as well. WebPageTest Page Images

It might be my server config causing this, but I have no much info about how things are working in the background. So, I’d appreciate if somebody can point me to the right direction.
