Optimisation Summary feature not always appearing

In case anyone is reading…
I can see that WPT org has had a revant, unfortunately it seems a little inconsistent in function.
I frequently test a Desktop then a Mobile (same) URL. In the results where it says VIEW Performance Summary and under that a drop down of menu options, I see differences in the amount of options available but can see no reason why.
Previously I could run a Desktop, then a Mobile and on each, I could see
Security score = A First byte time = A Keep alive enabled = A and so on.
Now the tool has been revamped, I don’t see this on Desktop AND Mobile.
Recently I ran Desktop and Mobile and on the test runs menus listed like this 12 Options

Details
Web Vitals
Optimisation (Summary) THIS ONE
Content
Domains
Processing
Image analysis
Data cost
Security score
OTHER job run one that does not show the letter scores

Performance summary 9 options NOTE the Optimisations link is missing (among others)

I am obviously missing something but what has happened to that option that it does not show on BOTH Desktop AND mobile tests?

Hey Rob!

Can you let me know what browser you’re testing in for the second test (where Optimisations are missing)?

Desktop and mobile tests should both be returning that page unless it’s in a browser like Safari or Firefox where we can’t return the response bodies for analysis (though we do have an open ticket to change that: Enable grades in Firefox · Issue #1441 · WPO-Foundation/webpagetest · GitHub
