Is there an AMI with IE10? I have walked through the steps for setting up a private instance agent box and every time I try to install the dummynet traffic shaper network service I lose connectivity to the server.
I always make sure I reboot in test mode before doing the install, as per the instructions, but every time (on the default amazon ami fro windows server 2008 r2) I install the dummynet stuff I lose the box and ec2 loses the box and I have to terminate it.
An AMI would be helpful, there is an IE10 on the public site so I know it’s possible. Maybe not in EC2?
Sorry, I’ve been having trouble getting dummynet to work with the Citrix PV drivers that Amazon is using (and yeah, it’s impossible to debug since you lose connectivity to the instance as soon as you try). I’ve tried to find a way to use different drivers (like the older Redhat ones) but haven’t found a way to do that yet.
The IE 10 locations on the public site runs on various platforms depending on location but none of them in EC2 (yet anyway). Physical hardware, VMWare, KVM and Hyper-V have all been configured successfully - just haven’t found a way to get it on EC2 yet (Azure should work but I haven’t tried that yet).
