Looks like the ini is fine. Can you uninstall Firefox, including user data, make sure the directory is completely gone and re-install?
Do you have any antivirus running that may be injecting it’s own exyensions into Firefox?
[color=#0000CD]You’re right Patrick! I uninstalled my FF and then tried to re-install it but its not installing properly. I tried to install the lower versions of FF but again in vain. I made some registry changes as well, looks like something has gone wrong now and it wouldn’t let me install FF again on my 64 bit OS 
Its really sad that FF doesn’t have a 64 bit installer otherwise i could have tried that.[/color]
